The Eiffel Tower is an iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. The tower was built in 1889 as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair, it has become both a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest building in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world, millions of people ascend it every year. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.

I choose this topic because I love the structure. I visited the tower in 2008 when I went to Europe with my parents. When I saw the tower for the first time I fell in love. 

I chose this picture because it's new and I like it. The photograph was taken last Saturday by a friend of ours, Kasia (I know, the date was wrong). That day we got together to watch the football match between Chile and Venezuela and to eat a barbacue. In the picture you can see me with Victor, my best friend and Tomás, a friend of both of us with a bowl of sausages and that was very funny (you understand). I like the picture because that day we laughed a lot, we talked about a hundred things, Chile won the match and that was very exciting  and simply because we were all together and that was a lot of fun.

The most fun part of the day was to break the bad luck of Karymy, a friend, because whenever she watches a soccer game where Chile plays, we lose. But this time, fortunately, Chile won .

Today I want to talk about my favorite topic: The Titanic

The Titanic history is well known for all. The unsinkable ship, the luxury, the most famous and richest people in it, and the typical scene of the ship sinking and the music band playing until the end and of course, the 1500 people who died that terrible night. But, how was the Titanic built?

The Titanic was a visionary project of Bruce Ismay. Ismay was a president of the White Start Line; he imagined a unique ship. The ship will be the biggest, most luxurious and safest ship in the world.

The project was built in 1909 by the Belfast shipbuilder Harland & Wolff in North Ireland. The ship had the ultimate naval technology of the world. All in it was amazing.

The building process took 3 years from 1909 to 1912, year of the maiden voyage. Her designer was Thomas Andrews; he designed a big part of the ship, the luxuries rooms and salons like the big staircase, first class dining room and the first class rooms.

After 3 years, the Titanic was complete and ready for her maiden voyage. The same Thomas Andrews says: “the ship was almost perfect for what the human brain can do”

Well, I’m not a very technological man but the pieces of technology that I love are computers. Since I was in the primary I had a PC in my house and I liked play Age of Empires, The Sims and others games. I had the same old computer 5 or 6 years until my parents bought a new computer. That was awesome because I can played more games and faster than before. In that time I started to use Internet and the typical web sites: Google, Messenger and YouTube.

The last year for the first time I have my own laptop. Was a present for my birthday and I use it for my university works and of course, play my favorites games.

With the appearance of Jaidefinichon my life changed. From that day I use my laptop everyday to see the page because is very funny to me.

However I don’t consider myself an addict to technology. I love go out with my friends and I prefer that to being play computer or watching any web site.

Hi! Today I want to talk about my favorite music band: Three Days Grace. Three Days Grace is a Canadian Post Grunge band, formed in Norwood, Ontario, Canada in 1992, originally under the name Groundswell, with which they recorded only one album. After their breakup in 1997, the band regrouped in the same year under its current name. The band consists of Adam Gontier (vocals, guitar), Neil Sanderson (drums, vocals) and Brad Walst (bass).  Three Days Grace has released three studio albums: Three Days Grace in 2003, One-X in 2006 and Life Starts Now in 2009. The albums have been certified platinum, double platinum, and gold, respectively, in the USA. I love the band since the first day I heard a song: "burn". I haven't a favorite song because I like them all equally.

My name is Gonzalo Gidi. I was born in Santiago on April 1993, but I lived all my life in Curicó, in the central zone of Chile. My family is small but is very funny because my dad, sister and I are from Chile and my mom, brother and other sister are from Uruguay.

I studied at Colegio Larraín until third grade but I moved to Instituto San Martín to finishe high school. Now I study Public Administration and Political Sciences at Universidad de Chile.

After university I would like to go home to sleep or meet my friends of other faculties like FEN or Injeniería. In my free time I like to see movies with friends or my family, play computer, especially The Sims 2. Also I love to make miniature boats, especially The Titanic miniature, I love that ship.

Another thing I like is to practice sport. I practice athletics from 2006 and I love training and competing.
